Who we are
Battery Associates Powering Battery Innovation Limited, an Irish registered company, CRO number 679766, is the data controller for this site. Contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
When you subscribe we store your first name, email address and, if you give it, your company name. We also record the page you signed up from, the referring site, any campaign parameters in the URL, the time of signup and the version of the consent text you agreed to.
Why we hold it
We use it to send you new podcast episodes and occasional updates about the battery industry, and to tell you about Battery Associates training. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the signup form. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Who else sees it
Subscriber records are stored in our own database and copied to the Battery Associates contact record system so that you are one person across the podcast and the BatteryMBA programme. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep subscriber records until you unsubscribe, and for 12 months after that so we can prove the unsubscribe was honoured. Then we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
Guests and published transcripts
Episodes of the Battery Insiders podcast are published with the agreement of the people who appear in them. This site additionally publishes transcripts of those episodes and, for some, written summaries. Guests are identified by name, role and employer as given at the time of recording. If you appeared on an episode and want your material corrected or removed, write to us and we will act on it. See Corrections and removals.
